The Nature Trail is nearly a mile long and was cleared by Rich and Terri over 11 years, and they continue to work on it every year.  Stroll our peaceful and educational nature trail, lined with flowers (that the rabbits love to eat!).  While you stroll read about Minnesota's wildlife and birds on informative signs.  There are benches along the way.  Visit the animals as the trail circles the pasture.

Pet the Farm Animals

The beloved farm animals live out their lives at the orchard.  In the chicken coop, our oldest residents are Dotty and Owen.  Dotty, a babydoll sheep, who came to us as a baby is now 100 in human years, so she moves slow!  Owen and Walter are twin fainting goats.  Our newest residents at the coop are Hairy, Kettle, and Korn, Valais Blacknose sheep, who are very friendly.  We also have a goat born this year named Ryan.  We have many chickens and a few roosters.  PLEASE don’t chase the chickens, they will stop laying eggs and we sell their eggs in the barn.  Behind the barn you will find the cow pasture, where the lineup includes: Carol and Camryn (Black Angus/Heifers), Reed and Katie (Scottish Highlander cows), Tommy and Toddy (miniature donkeys), and Abby (our rescue Belgian Horse) Abby has injured feet and was rescued from slaughter.  Abby and Katie are besties.
